Install myPod as described in the previous section. To migrate your playlists you should in a first step scan your mp3 files. Then you can export you playlists using the older version of myPod and import them into the new one.
Please note, that you have to resynchronize your iPod.
If you are one of the brave, you can try to copy the content of the data directory of your old myPod installation to the new one. Usually this should work, but be not so brave not to backup your data before.
